You know, talking ’bout social energy, it’s like when us folks feel tired after chattin’ with people too much. It ain’t no different from a battery, once you use up all that energy, you gotta take a break. Now, some of us get our social energy charged up just by bein’ around folks, laughin’ and talkin’. But for others, well, talkin’ to people takes a lot outta ’em, like workin’ a whole day in the field. They need some time alone to get their energy back. Ain’t that funny? Same way our phones and them gadgets need charg’in, we do too!
Now, I hear people talkin’ about Social Energy with solar panels and all that fancy stuff. Well, lemme tell ya, it’s kinda like what we do with our social energy. They use the sun’s energy to power up things, and if one person ain’t usin’ all their power, they can share it with another, like passin’ a basket of apples to your neighbor when you got too many. They say with batteries, folks can store the energy for when it’s dark and they need it. Ain’t that somethin’?
Seems like Social Energy got a whole system where people can trade energy, just like how folks swap eggs or flour when they’re low. The solar energy gets collected, stored in these fancy batteries, and when someone ain’t usin’ it, it gets sent to someone who needs it. And it ain’t just for your own house, no sir. You can share it with a whole bunch of other folks through somethin’ they call the National Grid. Big ol’ system, kinda like how the whole village pulls together when there’s a harvest or a storm.
This here Social Energy thing, they been doin’ it since 2017, connectin’ up thousands of folks with them solar panels and batteries. All the houses workin’ together, like how we used to pool our crops when there was a bad season. But I heard somethin’ strange—they stopped doin’ it back in 2021. Dunno what happened exactly, but seems like they couldn’t keep it goin’. Maybe it’s like how sometimes, you run outta steam when you’re tryin’ to keep everyone happy, and you gotta stop for a while.
Now, talkin’ ’bout social energy like in people, well, it’s a bit different but still makes sense if ya think about it. You got your physical energy, emotional energy, and even your thinkin’ energy. When you’re with people, talkin’, laughin’, and figurin’ things out, all them energies get used up. Like, after a whole day of chattin’ with neighbors or at the market, some folks feel downright exhausted, while others are buzzin’ and ready for more. Everybody’s different, just like how not all crops need the same amount of water.
But lemme tell ya, when your social energy gets low, you gotta take care of it, just like tendin’ to a field. You rest up, maybe sit quiet on the porch, listen to the birds, and then you’ll be ready to go again. Ain’t no shame in it, just like takin’ a break when you’re tired from workin’ in the garden all day. You don’t wanna push too hard, or else you won’t have nothin’ left for the next day.
So, this whole thing ‘bout social energy—whether it’s folks sharin’ solar power or sharin’ time and conversation—it’s all ‘bout findin’ balance. If ya got too much, give some away. If you’re runnin’ low, take some time to rest and recharge. Same way we help each other out in the village, whether it’s a jug of milk or just a friendly chat.
